About Us
Sunbeams
was founded by Annie Mawson in 1992
to provide therapeutic music to people with special needs. The Charity provides Music For Life in over 100 live music workshops per month to people who are disadvantaged. The service is available to children and adults with a wide variety of special needs including physical disabilities and mental health problems, Alzheimers and senile dementia, cerebral palsy, autism, Down's Syndrome, sensory impairments, emotional and behavioural disturbance and profound multiple disabilities. We also facilitate community concerts in rural and isolated areas.

your Sunbeams continue to make music and spread light in a gloomy world!"

to the strength of the individuals, whether it's singing, dancing, or
having a go on an instrument." COSC
"The
Music Sessions had two key benefits:
1)
they were inclusive, allowing everyone to enjoy music with a sense of
achievement
2) they were fun."

small token of our appreciation for all you do for Age Concern Eden
